Home and School Gifting Policy

Aim - To ensure equity in the presentation of gifts, and to provide clear guidelines on the values of those gifts, whilst respecting the appropriate use of funds raised with the purpose of supporting Te Horo School.


  1. Gifts will be presented as a token of appreciation to those outside of the school community who have given their time, money or goods deemed by the committee to warrant such action.

  1. All gifts will be reviewed by the Chairperson and Treasurer and should be receipted through the Home and School’s normal purchase process.

  2. The cost of the gift should be no greater than $20 and appropriately reflect the benefit received.
