Assistant Principal - 2 Permanent Units plus 1 Fixed Term (Negotiable)

We are looking for a new Assistant Principal to join our school community. Located on the beautiful Kāpiti Coast, just north of Waikanae and south of Ōtaki, we have a supportive community and a wonderful professional team of staff. This is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting to further develop their leadership in a growing school.

 The successful applicant will need to be prepared to teach in a collaborative learning environment. We are looking for someone who will be willing to work in this way, reflect and discuss openly and honestly ideas for enriching learning.We have flexibility in the year level to be taught, across Years 1–8. Please state your preferred year levels and strengths in your application.  

 Strengths in any of the following areas are desirable: te reo and Tikanga Māori; use of digital technologies in the classroom; play/project-based learning; student agency; leading Maths; leading P.E & Health. There may be the possibility of negotiating additional fixed term management units for someone who can lead other staff in these areas.
